The Carolina Strive RISEUP Run Over Cancer 5K is scheduled for Saturday, November 9, 2024, at the Rocky Mount Athletic Complex, located at 600 Independence Drive, Rocky Mount, NC. The event aims to raise funds for local cancer research and treatment, along with the Coach Michael J. Wright Sr. Scholarship Program.

Registration for the race begins at $30 from September 21 through November 8, and increases to $40 on race day. Children aged 7 and under can participate for free, while those aged 8-13 can register for half price when accompanied by an adult.

The event will kick off with a 1K Fun Run starting at 8:00 AM, followed by the 5K race at 8:30 AM. Vendor check-in begins at 7:00 AM. Awards will be presented in multiple age categories for both races, and all registered participants will receive a t-shirt and a certificate.
