The Casa Grande Fire Department (CGFD) said it is excited about a new Fire Prevention Week safety theme announced by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).

The NFPA theme for this year’s Fire Prevention Week is “Charge into Fire Safety: Safe Charging is a Superpower.”

The CGFD said it will use Fire Prevention Week, October 4–10, to share safety tips, educational resources, and “fun activities for all ages.” The department said it plans to bring the safety message to its schools, businesses, and community.

In the post, CGFD said it will encourage residents to remember that safe charging is their “superpower.”
