Stolen Glenmere Park statue recovered, returned to Parks Department
Greeley, Colo. — The Glenmere Park statue "The Prize Catch" has been recovered, police say.
On May 13, staff at Rocky Mountain Recycling realized a statue sold to their facility the previous night matched the description of the statue posted in a news release. They immediately secured the item and notified detectives.
Detectives recovered the artwork and returned it to the Parks Department. While the statue is home, the investigation is ongoing.
