Basha High Film & TV Students Win Awards

Chandler Unified Schools in Chandler, Arizona, announced that students from Basha High School’s Film & TV Career and Technical Education program won awards at the Student Production Awards presented by the Rocky Mountain Southwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

The winning projects include "Playing for Honor" in the High School Sports Story category, produced by Kaleb G and featuring Jayden R., Timothy S., and Jayden L. In the High School Sports Promo category, the entry "Tell ’Em You’re a Bear" was produced by Jayden L. and Timothy S.

In the High School Feature News Report category, the project "A Treat for Every Tail" was produced by Bill Tallyn and featured contributors Jayden R., Timothy S., and Jayden L. Jayden R. also won the High School Talent award for his role as a sports broadcaster.

The awards recognize the talent and hard work of the students and staff in the CTE program at Basha High School.
