The Rocky Mountain PBS documentary episode "Uncovering Dearfield," part of the series Colorado Experience, has won a regional Emmy Award. The episode was partly filmed at the Greeley History Museum and features appearances by Greeley Museums Manager Chris Bowles, Ph.D., and University of Northern Colorado Professor George Junne, Ph.D., a long-time member of the Greeley Museums Advisory Board.

"Uncovering Dearfield" examines the history of Dearfield, Colorado, an early 20th-century Black homesteading community located east of Greeley. The documentary contributes to preserving the story of Dearfield by documenting its legacy and the community's perseverance.
