Girl Survives; Grandma, Aurora Responders Honored
An eight-year-old girl survived a life-threatening incident thanks to the quick actions of her grandmother and Aurora first responders. The incident was highlighted during a recent ceremony at Aurora City Hall in Aurora, Colorado. An award presentation was held in front of a firetruck, with the young girl, her grandmother, an Aurora 911 dispatcher, and family members in attendance. Aurora Fire Rescue Falck Rocky Mountain was also recognized for their role in the rescue efforts. Additional details are available in the Aurora Now segment on July 2, 2025, via Aurora TV.
